Death of a human player character occurs when they reach negative of their max vitality.
After death:

  • Duffel Bag spawns at the location of body.
  • In single player, character is permanently gone.
  • In multiplayer, player character permanently loses percentage of all stats gained toward the starting skill stats of character, depending on the respawn setting, default is 50%. Player can chose to be respawned after the end of the round or to respawn mid-round with extra skill loss penalty depending on the respawn setting, default is 10%. Asisstants have a talent An Apple A Day that gives resistance to skill loss after dying.
